Social Investment Lead

£39,703 – £46,709 per annum (plus £3,285 London weighting if applicable) + generous benefits

Full time, permanent, immediate start (flexible working considered)

Assigned to office in London, Birmingham or Bradford hub.

Our client supports a range of social entrepreneurs from start-ups to those with more established social ventures with the opportunity to scale their impact. Our client offers them a complete package of resources; from awards of funding to ongoing advice, networking and practical support.

Our client’s ventures team supports social entrepreneurs to scale their ventures and create lasting impact. They design their support around the key barriers that social entrepreneurs tell them they face; raising capital, developing routes to market, accessing specialist advice and evidencing impact. This is through our accelerators and impact funds we run.

Key Responsibilities

Lead on the management and delivery of all our client’s social investment funds

Investment assessment and process support
Chair our client’s Investment Committees
Lead the management of our client’s investment portfolio
Management of our client’s investment team and stakeholder engagement

Essential experience/skills

Experience of managing the end to end investment process:
Experience of developing and / or leading on future strategic developments
Experience of supporting small businesses with growth, ideally through financial modelling and analysis
Experience of supporting and / or leading on the development of new funds
Knowledge of the social investment market
Excellent organisational skills including problem solving, managing conflicting pressures, workload allocation, reporting and efficient record-keeping
